Join us for an unforgettable two-day intensive blacksmithing experience where you'll hand-forge two fully functional, heat-treated, usable tomahawks!
The Experience:
Over two full days (June 20-21, 2026), you'll work HARD alongside our master blacksmith to heat, hammer, and shape raw steel into balanced, battle-ready tomahawks. You'll learn traditional forging techniques, proper heat treatment, and handle fitting to create a matched pair. We will have a throwing range and chop test setup for those who want test their blades.
This hands-on class is perfect for Father's Day—whether you're treating yourself or gifting an experience Dad will never forget. Prior blacksmithing experience preferred but not required if you are up to the challenge.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided both days!!

What You Take Home: Two badass hand-forged, heat treated tomahawks and certificate of completion, merch.

Skill Level: All levels welcome however, some previous forging experience would be beneficial

Student add-on for $75 (you will work with your guest to craft 1 tomahawk each ex: father/son, husband/wife etc.) A full price class has to be purchased to ad a guest.

Specify at checkout in the comments section what shirt size(s) you want. We must have all shirt sizes 3 weeks before class as they are made to order. (Currently this is the only way to get a VB T-shirt, THEY SHALL BE EARNED!)

Refund policy: Because of the complexities and logistics involved with these axe classes , the participant will not be able to reschedule or transfer to another class. Therefore, a full refund will be issued (minus a $50 restocking fee) if given a minimum 30 days notice. If given less than 30 days notice a $200 restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. No shows and drop outs are non refundable. Any unforeseen cancelations by The Village Blacksmith will be refunded 100% or a reschedule date will be determined.
