The quality steel has been hand formed, textured, patina’d and colored by flame. The heat from a torch or forge is applied which causes the metal to change color which, are known as the tempering colors. After the desired colors are achieved, the surface is roughened up and distressed to represent and simulate our loved sea going work boat to reveal “Gloucester” etal and the year of its production. No two are the same but, each pays proper homage to our sea life heritage.
